Things got dicey early on Sunday, with SCHEFFLER stumbling to a 2-over front nine and momentarily losing the lead. JON RAHM surged into a tie thanks to three quick birdies, but then the back nine hit—and that’s when SCHEFFLER locked in.

While RAHM imploded with a bogey-double-double finish (ouch), SCHEFFLER played mistake-free, dropping birdies on 10, 14, and 15, and then coolly navigating Quail Hollow’s brutal “Green Mile” like it was a Sunday stroll.
