Apr 13, 2025 - RORY MCILROY has done it—finally! After 17 tries at Augusta and an 11-year major drought, RORY captured his elusive green jacket at the 2025 Masters in dramatic fashion, completing the career Grand Slam and sealing his place in golf history.

The final round? Pure chaos. RORY started with a two-shot lead, then immediately double-bogeyed the first hole. He sprinkled in four doubles, including a brutal 11–14 stretch, but roared back with clutch birdies on 15 and 17 to hang on.

Enter JUSTIN ROSE, who charged up the leaderboard with a sizzling 66, erasing a seven-shot gap to tie MCILROY at 11-under. RORY had a chance to win on the 72nd hole but found a bunker and bogeyed, setting up a nail-biting playoff.

Back on 18, RORY shook off the demons. While ROSE could only manage par, MCILROY rolled in a birdie—cue the roar from Augusta. The wait was over.
